What is it about?
“Sleeping in the Fallout” is about a different kind of fallout. The emotional fallout of growing up in a home with a single mother who is struggling with her own emotional fallout. My father was not a good guy. We’ll just leave it at that.
Lyrics:
Burn the family you made down Kill the lights on your way out I'll be asleep in the fallout Not that you're worried though Not that you're worried though Another town, another girl She never saw you coming Another ring on a finger She tried her best but the new didn't linger Repetition of the same old things Another son That you won't raise Somebody could have warned her there were hard times coming So burn the family you made down Kill the lights on your way out I'll be asleep in the fallout Not that you're worried though Another son Six months younger than the other one Another son you won't raise A repetition of the same old things Did she see you coming Did she know there were hard times coming So burn the family you made down Kill the lights on your way out I'll be asleep in the fall out Not that you're worried though.
