What is it about?
“When the Lights Go Down” is a result of thinking about growing older. One day, the lights will go down on the our life, much like the end of a theater production and it will end.
I’ve never really thought too hard about what it would be like to grow old, to pass away or to lose my wife. This song is designated as the fallout mix because of the recent conflict in the Ukraine and the threat of nuclear action by Russia. This version adds the background noise from Geiger counters to the sound track.
